Grandpa Lai’s Honey

Our client has been a traditional bee farmer for 100 years. This project was to explore new market possibilities through repositioning of the brand and the products.

Honey from different seasons and flowers tastes subtly different and various types of mono-floral honey are the key feature of our client’s products. FMS adopted a ‘pairing’ concept and introduced a wide range of food and tea pairing with the honey through the illustrations and package design.

To give personality to the brand, we suggested Grandpa Lai’s Honey as the brand name. FMS designed the brand concept, LOGO, packages and brand marketing theme for this project.

頑固的賴爺爺

透過品牌重新定位和產品線規劃,我們協助這間位於南投埔里的養蜂場開發新的市場可能性。

賴家從清朝的咸豐時期就開始在南投的埔里養蜂,至今已經超過100年。賴爺爺接手後,持續堅持使用自然農法養蜜,養出來的蜂蜜濃郁又純粹。他對這些小生物的熱情與愛護,已經超出我們對一般蜂農的想像。

為了讓更多年輕人重新認識蜂蜜,並打破傳統對蜂蜜吃法的想像,我們從命名就開始幫助賴爺爺。從他對蜂蜜固執的心,我們決定叫它做「頑固的賴爺爺」。在包裝上想別於一般蜂蜜的大容量包裝,讓它從小分裝開始,並利用紅酒搭配食物的概念(Pairing),透過不同插畫和食譜的形式來區別每一種花種蜜口味。

這個專案透過完整的設計深度,從品牌概念、命名、logo、包裝到市場行銷主題,讓一家百年的養蜂農場開發另一條新的產品線,除了更能貼近年輕人市場,也想讓蜂蜜這件事多了一些新的想像。
