Five Metal Shop POP UP is an experimental project and a showcase for our branding and business consultancy projects focused on local small & medium businesses. It is part of our “Heiso Project.”

The Heiso Project is named after Heiso ( “seasoned handyman” in Mandarin), our spokesperson who values heritage, culture and craftsmanship and offers his strategic insight and a refreshing market approach to these businesses. The project uses various formats: an on-line journal illustrating FMS design process, events that demonstrate ideas and direct contact with the market, an on-line shop and many more possibilities.

Old is not necessarily outdated. Five Metal Shop_POP UP is a documentation of not only to showcase FMS projects but also demonstrate the determination and commitment of FMS and its clients’ trust in implementing unorthodox strategic business and design approaches to reinvent their businesses.

FMS POP UP是一個實驗性的網路商店平台,期間限定的每一期將會販售我們為不同傳統產業客戶一起創造的商品,及一則一則傳統產業轉型的真實故事和完整的設計過程。

這個平台裡將會有好看的、好買的、好吃的,有70歲漁產工廠創辦人的殷切,有30歲接班人的願景,有老外設計師和本土鐵工廠台語英文的惺惺相惜。

我們希望這些美妙的故事可以被看見,也希望讓更多人發現設計的其他的面向,也可以實際的被收藏,所以便誕生了POP UP這個期間限定的計畫。

FMS POP UP 是Heiso Project的啟動計劃之一。 黑黑胖胖的黑手/Heiso是這個計劃的代言人,他性格靈活分裂,拒絕接受傳統 = 陳舊 = 被動等待救援,相信有文化的深度一定有未來式的活力,Heiso和相同信念的企業主,一起向正在發生的新傳統產業說,哈囉!
